Not just a slightly unusual gift, but probably the best gift you can give to any fan of real ale. This map of the UK has all the main indpendent breweries on it - 75 of them. When you've been there you just scratch it off to show that you have been there!
We would recommend the Purple Moose Brewery in Porthmadog, small, friendly and of course good beer (and a free pint at the end).
